Machine Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 to $ 19.50 / hour Full Time work availableThird Shift ( Sunday throughThursday from 12:00am to08:00am )
- Operating machinery to wrap metal, wire, or other materials around a core to create coils for electrical components like transformers and motors.
- Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining winding machines, preparing materials, and ensuring the quality and specifications of the finished coils.
- The role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to read technical specifications.
*MUST TRAIN ON 1st SHIFT*
*MUST HAVE RESUME*
Machine Operator Qualifications:
- Machine operation:
- Operate semi-automatic and manual winding machines to coil materials such as wire, cable, and other metal products.
- Setup: Prepare and load materials, set up machine controls for factors like speed and tension, and ensure the machinery is functioning correctly.
- Quality control: Inspect finished coils for defects, ensure they meet all quality standards and specifications, and perform tests with measuring devices.
- Material handling: Prepare materials by attaching, altering, and trimming items like wire, insulation, and coils using hand tools. Documentation: Record production data, test results, and any quality issues found. Maintenance and repair:
- Perform basic maintenance on winding machines and may be involved in the disassembly and repair of electrical components.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
