Accounts Receivable Specialist

Accounts Receivable Specialist Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $27.00 to $28.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

• Prepare and issue invoices for contracted services, transit pass sales, licenses, and other receivables.
• Ensure correct general ledger account coding for all invoices and payments.
• Maintain accurate records of remittances and supporting documentation.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables; perform monthly A/R close and generate aging reports.
• Performs necessary updates to the Seasonal pass information on the mobile app, works with IT department to resolve any associated issues
• Maintain PCI compliance and respond to third-party inquiries or audit requests.
• Cash Receipting & Transit Pass Administration 
• Enter cash receipts into accounting software and generate daily/weekly cash reports. 
• Administer bulk and seasonal transit pass programs, including mobile and zone pass sales. 
• Process orders, maintain inventory, calculate pricing updates, and manage pass stock levels. 
• Provide customer service in person, by phone, and via email regarding pass orders and payments.
