Commercial Door Hardware Sales Rep Details:
Direct Hire position- $
75,000.00 to $ 90,000.00 / annually Salaried
- Process orders for hollow metal doors, wood doors, and architectural hardware accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare bids and quotes by interpreting construction documents, specifications, and plans.
- Manage special orders for custom doors, frames, and hardware, including sourcing, order entry, and tracking delivery timelines.
- Provide strong customer service to general contractors, subcontractors, architects, and end users
- Coordinate production, shipping, and delivery of materials to ensure on-time and complete job-site arrivals.
- Work with the Service Department on field-related needs such as punch lists, replacements, and installations
- Collaborate with Technical Services to ensure correct hardware sets, fire-rating requirements, and ADA compliance.
Commercial Door Hardware Sales Rep Qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, specifications, and architectural plans.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order entry and documentation.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple departments, including Production, Shipping, Service, and Technical Services.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple orders and deadlines.
- Familiarity with commercial doors, frames, and architectural hardware (preferred but not required).
- Competence with basic computer systems and order-processing software.
