Quality Technician I Details:
Temporary position- $
20.00 to $ 22.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available ( Monday throughSunday from 07:00am to07:00pm )
Quality Technician accountable for managing defect prevention & ensuring only quality materials are accepted into & released from the plant.
* Conduct comprehensive testing, inspection, & proper handling of material samples
* Perform audits of quality processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Must have a thorough understanding of quality control including :
•Measurement & test equipment use and calibrations including hand tools, gauges, optical tools, balances, color meters, & force measuring instruments
• Mechanical aptitude
•Data entry & analysis methods
•Inspection techniques & process improvement
•Nonconforming materials & rework handling
•Sampling plans & sample prep
•Clean Room / Laboratory Tech experience is highly preferred!
Quality Technician I Qualifications:
Core Skills
• Writing Skills: Write clear sentences, complete technical forms, and apply basic math concepts like estimation and spatial reasoning
•Reading Skills: Interpret manuals, safety instructions, reports and coding systems
•Oral Skills: Communicate effectively, respond to and collaborate with supervisors and team members
Minimum Qualifications :
Stand/Walk throughout a 12 hour shift & lift up to 50 lbs.
• Previous manufacturing & forklift operation experience
• Read printed reports & data displayed on computer screens
• Fine motor skills, operate tools : chop saws, staple guns, calipers and other test equipment
• Must pass a Visual Acuity test.
