Press Assistant Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available ( Sunday throughSaturday from 07:00am to07:00pm )
Maintains proper market identification, checking mastheads, skid tickets and layouts. Maintains proper counts throughout the press runs, keeping presses stocked with necessary supplies.Operates and maintains the robotic equipment and stacker machines, identifying and reporting any print defects.Monitors product waste and coordinates paper waste removal in the pressroom. Completes preventive maintenance assignments and initiates work orders.
Press Assistant Qualifications:
- Must have hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the entire shift.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
