Assembly Worker

Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products for the HVAC industry, including round/oval spiral pipe and rectangular duct. Key Tasks:   Read and interpret product codes, specifications, and work orders. Drill, punch, and cut metal for assembly. Fasten seams and joints using welds, bolts, rivets, solder, caulk, and adhesives. Tools Used:   Hammers, aviation snips, uni-shears, notchers, plasma hand tools Paint brushes, caulk guns Drills and screw guns Required Knowledge & Skills:   Basic math and accurate tape-measure reading Active listening, communication, and writing Coordination, critical thinking, and reading comprehension Abilities: Strong near vision and manual dexterity Ability to follow sequences, recognize problems, maintain focus Steady hand/arm control and physical strength Ability to visualize completed assemblies Work Activities: Handling, lifting, positioning, and moving materials Performing physically demanding tasks (climbing, lifting, bending) Communicating with supervisors and team members Gathering information and identifying parts or issues Operating forklifts and mechanical equipment Using creativity to support fabrication needs Work Environment PPE required Frequent face-to-face communication
