Slitter Helper Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
19.00 to $ 20.00 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 02:00pm to10:00pm )
- Assist with setup and operation of slitting equipment
- Verify materials meet job specifications
- Load and secure coils using appropriate handling tools
- Monitor material during processing and help identify quality issues
- Support scrap handling, weighing, labeling, and final coil preparation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Work closely with the
- Slitter Operator and production team to keep operations running smoothly
Slitter Helper Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to read work orders and follow detailed instructions
- Comfortable using measuring tools (tape measure, micrometer, etc.)
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend throughout the shift
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork
- Forklift or coil-handling experience is a plus
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
