Yard Hostler 3rd Shift Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Third Shift ( Sunday throughThursday from 11:00pm to07:00am )
- Move and spot trailers throughout the yard and dock areas.
- Load, unload, and sort freight using pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklift (if certified).
- Verify cargo counts, inspect trailer conditions, and complete all required documentation.
- Maintain a clean work environment, including sweeping trailers as needed.
- Conduct daily yard checks and report damages or discrepancies.
Yard Hostler 3rd Shift Qualifications:
- Previous yard, warehouse, or freight-handling experience preferred.
- Ability to operate forklift or yard-handling equipment (or willingness to train if allowed).
- Must be able to lift, stack, and move freight safely.
- Strong attention to detail for paperwork and cargo verification.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work 3rd shift (11:00 PM–7:00 AM).
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
