Machine Maintenance Tech Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
28.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to02:30pm )
- Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on production machinery, including:
- Presses
- Roll formers
- Conveyors
- Welders
- CNC or automated equipment
- Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) on plant equipment and facility systems.
- Diagnose issues related to hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and control systems.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize operational interruptions.
- Accurately document all maintenance activities in logs or CMMS system.
- Follow all safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures.
Machine Maintenance Tech Qualifications:
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing or metal production preferred).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Basic to advanced electrical troubleshooting skills (120v–480v).
- Ability to read machine schematics and technical documents.
- Welding, fabrication, or machining experience is a plus.
- PLC troubleshooting experience is a huge advantage.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (lifting, standing, heat, noise).
- High school diploma or GED required
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
