Accounts Payable Details:
Temporary position- $
15.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Invoice processing: Receive, verify, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system. Payment processing: Schedule and process payments (e.g., checks, electronic transfers) accurately and on time.
- Account reconciliation: Compare invoices with purchase orders and receipts, reconcile vendor statements, and investigate discrepancies.
- Record keeping: Maintain and update the accounts payable ledger, and file and maintain historical financial records. Vendor relations:
- Maintain communication with vendors to resolve payment issues and build strong relationships. Compliance:
- Ensure all activities comply with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
- Reporting: Assist in generating financial statements and reports as needed.
Accounts Payable Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Proficiency with accounting software and other financial programs.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
