Fleet Maintenance Tech Details:
Temporary position- $
25.14 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to04:00pm )
- Oversees automotive services requirements for the vanpool program.
- Evaluates and performs 36 point vehicle inspection on returned vehicles.
- Addresses technical/maintenance issues with customers/vendors.
- Evaluates all returned vehicles and determines effectiveness of returning vehicle back into service based on set criteria.
- Monitors vendors to ensure consistency with maintenance repairs.
- Provides emergency assistance in event of accident or breakdown.
- Prepares new vehicles for lease; orders supplies, installs license plates, fire extinguisher, emergency triangles, etc.
- Ensures proper vehicle documentation.
- Ensures staff vehicles are maintained and reliable for the Rideshare Department. Maintains the FLHQ support vehicles.
Fleet Maintenance Tech Qualifications:
- Five years previous work experience with demonstrated knowledge and understanding of automotive mechanical/electrical/electronic repair techniques.
- Experience with automotive diagnostics & preventative maintenance.
- Strong Organizational skills to maintain accurate records.
- Beginner level proficiency in MS Word & Excel.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Associates degree in: Automotive Technology preferred.
- Must have a valid Utah Driver's License.-
- Safe driving record with no more than 4 moving violations in the past 3 years and no convictions for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs in the past 10 years.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
