Sanitation Worker Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
19.50 / hour Full Time work availableThird Shift
- Will train on first shift 7a-3:30p then will transfer to 3rd shift, shift times to be determined
- Perform routine cleaning & sanitation of production equipment, machinery, tools, & contact surfaces using approved chemicals & tools.
- Disassemble, clean, rinse, sanitize, & reassemble equipment per the SSOPs / sanitation SOPs.
- Clean & sanitize floors, walls, ceilings, drains, & other facility areas as assigned.
- Maintain cleanliness of non-production areas (e.g. bathrooms, break rooms, hallways).
- Follow proper lock-out / block-out / LOTO procedures when dismantling equipment for cleaning.
- Operate cleaning equipment (pressure washers, hoses, scrubbers, etc.)
- Maintain drainage systems — clean drain baskets/ screens, ensure drain flow, unblock when required.
- Monitor & clean waste disposal areas, ensure trash is removed & containers sanitized.
- Apply sanitizing agents & verify final cleaning status.
- Document all sanitation activities — fill out cleaning schedules, checklists, time logs, chemical usage, & any deviations.
- Report any equipment damage, sanitation issues, or safety hazards
Sanitation Worker Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous sanitation or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to stand, bend, & lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods of time.
- Dependable & detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic.
- Positive attitude & commitment to teamwork & continuous improvement.
- Reliable attendance & strong communication skills.
