Sanitation Lead Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 02:00pm to10:30pm )
Lead, train, and coordinate the sanitation crew to ensure all assigned cleaning tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
Verify that all equipment and production areas are properly cleaned, sanitized, and inspected before start-up.
Prepare and maintain sanitation schedules, checklists, and documentation as required by company policy and regulatory agencies.
Ensure proper use of chemicals, PPE, and cleaning tools in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and company safety programs. Conduct pre-operational and post-operational inspections in collaboration with QA.
Communicate any maintenance or repair needs discovered during sanitation to the appropriate department.
Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and chemicals and notify management of reorder needs. Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and ensure compliance with all food safety and safety regulations.
Support and promote continuous improvement initiatives related to sanitation efficiency and product safety.
Sanitation Lead Qualifications:
Prior leadership or team lead experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge of USDA, FDA, and SQF sanitation standards.
Ability to read and interpret sanitation procedures and safety documentation.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
