Experienced Machinist
Seeking a well-qualified machinist to set up & operate a variety of equipment (including lathes, mills, grinders, and CNC machines) to produce precision metal parts/components for a local manufacturer as a temp-to-hire.

Experienced Machinist Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
27.00 to $ 30.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughThursday from 05:00am to03:30pm )
Machine Operation:
- Set up and operate a variety of precision equipment (lathes, mills, grinders, and CNC machines)
Reading Blueprints:
- Technical interpretation of written materials & diagrams
Quality Control:
- Use precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers)
- Verify dimensions and tolerances of machined parts
Maintenance & Safety:
- Perform routine adjustments and calibrations
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities in processes and efficiency
- Knowledge of new machining techniques, tools, and technologies
Experienced Machinist Qualifications:
We are seeking a single well-qualified candidate. Resumes should be clear reflections of your experience & skills.
Required Experience:
- Min 2 years professional experience in machining or a related manufacturing role
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in operating a variety of machining equipment/tools
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, blueprints, and machining specifications
- Accurately use precision measuring instruments
- Machine programming skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Manual dexterity
