Tax Preparer/Bookkeeper Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 25.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift
- Year-Round (Non-Tax Season): Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Tax Season: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
- Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Saturday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
- Management of multiple client accounts.
- Bookkeeping and reconciliations.
- Input & generate monthly financial statements for business clients.
- Prepare Financial Statements for Business Clients. Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts.
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable (invoicing and bill payment).
- Prepare and file tax documents, such as income tax returns.
- Prepare and file Sales Tax Returns.
- Payroll processing and knowledge.
- Provide support to clients in the case of an IRS audit.
- Answer client questions and provide advice.
- Meet one-on-one with clients for financial reviews and general tax planning.
Tax Preparer/Bookkeeper Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Experience as a Tax Preparer and Bookkeeper.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Thomson Reuter Software Products.
- Demonstrates organizational, problem-solving, project management, and time management skills.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
