Retail/Customer Service Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available ( Tuesday throughSaturday from 11:00am to07:30pm )
Job Description:
Elwood Staffing is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate / Retail Support team member for a full-time position located off Morse Rd in Columbus, OH. This role requires training in both front and back of the house. Associates will unload trucks, stock merchandise, perform inventory checks, assist customers, and operate the register as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Unload trucks and move merchandise to the correct storage or staging areas Stock shelves and organize product displays
- Perform inventory audits and verify accuracy of incoming merchandise Maintain clean, organized warehouse and retail areas
- Assist customers with locating items and answering questions
- Operate the cash register and process purchases accurately Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Basic computer/register operation skills
Retail/Customer Service Qualifications:
- Unload trucks, stock merchandise, and maintain organized warehouse/retail areas
- Assist customers with locating products and answering questions
- Operate register and process purchases accurately Perform inventory checks and verify accuracy of incoming shipments
- Follow all safety rules and company procedures
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
