Billing Specialist Details:
Temporary position- $
19.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Responsible for submitting insurance claims, following up on unpaid or denied claims, resolving billing discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records.
- Responsible for verifying patient insurance eligibility, posting payments, performing audits, and ensuring compliance with payer rules and regulations.
- A key function is also to provide customer service to patients regarding billing inquiries and to identify and report trends to improve revenue cycle performance.
Billing Specialist Qualifications:
- Prior medical billing experience essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail
- Basic math and computer knowledge
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
