Utility Locate Coordinator Details:

Coordinate utility locate requests between field technicians, contractors, and utility companies.
Communicate with project managers, clients, and excavators to clarify locate details and resolve conflicts.
Track and document locate status using mapping systems or internal databases.
Review and process 811 (One Call) tickets, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
Ensure compliance with state One Call laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Prepare daily or weekly reports on locate activity and outstanding requests.

Utility Locate Coordinator Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proven ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
1–3 years of experience in utility locating, construction coordination, or related administrative work
Experience with 811 One Call systems (preferred)
