Diesel Mechanic Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 25.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughSaturday from 06:30am to05:00pm )
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on belly dump trucks, grain trucks, and associated hauling equipment.
- Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulics, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Inspect and repair hydraulic systems and dump mechanisms.
- Maintain and repair grain handling equipment such as augers, conveyors, and silos.
- Ensure all vehicles and equipment are compliant with safety standards.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair diagrams.
Diesel Mechanic Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- Experience with belly dump truck maintenance, grain hauling equipment, and farm machinery.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and welding/fabrication skills for repairs.
- to work independently in shop or field environments.
- ASE certification or relevant diesel mechanic experience preferred.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
