Service Writer Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 25.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Greet customers, listen to concerns, and document service requests
- Create, update, and close repair orders in the system
- Provide repair estimates, timelines, and cost approvals
- Track parts orders and ensure availability for repairs
- Ensure accuracy in billing, invoices, and work order documentation
Service Writer Qualifications:
- Own hand, power tools including wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, hammers, impact drills, ratchets is preferred
- Previous experience as a tire service writer, customer service, automotive, dealership
- Provide tire recommendations based on vehicle type, usage, and maintenance history
- Communicate repair/installation timelines and cost estimates to customers
- Coordinate shop workflow with technicians for tire installation, balancing, rotations, and repairs
- Track inventory and parts availability for tires and related services
- Promote tire sales, maintenance packages, and additional services
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
