Painter Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to04:00pm )
- Operate specialized equipment to apply paint or other materials to create lines on various surfaces.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, grinding, or sanding as needed.
- Measure and mark lines according to project specifications or safety regulations.
- Mix and prepare paint to the correct consistency for application.
- Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure lines are straight, durable, and meet standards.
- Follow all safety guidelines and traffic control procedures when working on public roads.
Painter Qualifications:
- Physical Requirements: Stamina to stand for long periods, physical strength to lift and move equipment, and dexterity.
- Vision: Specific vision abilities like close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception are necessary.
- Attention to Detail: A strong eye for detail is critical to ensure precision and quality.
- Work Environment: Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
- Other Skills: Strong communication and teamwork skills, ability to follow instructions, and a willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- License: A valid driver's license is often required.
- Experience: Entry-level positions may provide on-the-job training, but prior experience or an apprenticeship can be beneficial.
