Warehouse Team Lead

Warehouse Team Lead Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $20.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:30pm)

• Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
• Maintaining and overseeing inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, loading and shipping items
• Management of workload and inventory levels including coordination of inbound/outbound shipments and inventory reconciliation with data storage system
• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
• Reporting of daily activities, issues and concerns
• Manage warehouse supply inventory
• Responsible for securing and supervision of warehouse staff
• Trains new staff
• Prepares orders for shipment based on the delivery schedule
• Delegating tasks to the remainder of the team
• Double checking what’s being loaded against the paperwork while the team is loading
• Pays close attention to details
• Maintains accuracy of outbound shipments
• Direct team members where to line up orders
• Communicate to the team what to expect for the day from the delivery schedule
• Forklift driver
• Open and close on Saturday when necessary
• Maintains the cleanliness and organizing of the warehouse.
