Steel Construction Estimator Details:
Direct Hire position- $
75,000.00 to $ 100,000.00 / annually First Shift
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure accurate pricing and adherence to budgets.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather necessary information for estimates.
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best pricing and terms.
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
- Maintain organized records of all estimates, contracts, and related documentation.
Steel Construction Estimator Qualifications:
- Steel Erection Estimation: 1 year (Required)
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and practices.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with contractors and suppliers.
- Familiarity with cost control measures in construction projects.
- Understanding of construction site operations and requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in evaluating project specifications.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Fabrication Estimation experience if applicable.
