Optician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
15.00 to $ 18.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 09:00am to05:00pm )
- Assist patients in selecting eyeglasses and contact lenses based on optometrist or ophthalmologist prescriptions.
- Ensure proper fit and comfort of eyeglasses through measurements, adjustments, and repairs.
- Educate patients on product options, lens types, and proper eyewear care.
- Create work orders, manage inventory, and process insurance claims accurately.
- Handle administrative tasks, including answering phone calls and scheduling appointments.
Optician Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
- Strong phone etiquette and professionalism a must.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced office environment.
- Previous experience in an optometrist office is required.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
