2nd Shift Slitter Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 02:00pm to10:00pm )
- Set up and operate the slitting machine per job specifications
- Load and thread coils into the machine and ensure proper alignment
- Monitor the slitting process, checking dimensions, edge quality, and material condition
- Inspect finished coils for accuracy and quality
- Package, label, and stage finished material for shipping or next operation
- Perform regular maintenance checks and maintain a clean, safe work area
- Complete production logs and documentation accurately
- Communicate with team members and supervisors about issues or quality concerns
2nd Shift Slitter Operator Qualifications:
- Prior experience in manufacturing or machine operation preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use measuring tools
- Forklift or crane operation experience a plus (training/certification available)
- Strong focus on safety, accuracy, and productivity
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
