Elwood Staffing is immediately hiring a packer in Pittsburg, TX! Monday-Friday 11p-7a with some Saturdays as needed. $16.50/hr! This will be an 8 week project, but could be temp to hire if you do really well.

Packer Details:
Temporary position- $
16.50 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 11:00pm to07:00am )
- This is an 8 week project, but could be temp to hire if you have great attendance and work performance
- Must be able to work 8, 12 hours, 1st, swing or 2nd shifts
- Inspect and pack pet food products according to company specifications
- Ensure packaging is properly labeled and sealed
- Stack packed items on pallets and prepare for shipment
- Perform quality checks for weight, seal integrity, and appearance
- May operate a forklift
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with line changeovers and clean-up procedures
- Other duties to be assigned
Packer Qualifications:
- Must have forklift experience
- Lifting up to 50 lbs repetitively
- Standing for the entire shift
- Must live within 30 minutes of Pittsburg
- Must have manufacturing experience
- Non climate controlled environment
- No jewelry, false lashes, fingernail polish or fake nails are allowed due to it being a food manufacturing facility
- Hair net, bump cap, safety glasses, and ear plugs are provided and must be worn
- Steel toes required
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
