Elwood Staffing is hiring for several Material Handlers in Tyler! Monday-Friday 5:30am-4:30pm some weekends $17.80/hr!

Material Handler Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.80 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 05:30am to04:30pm )
- Some Saturdays as needed
- May be required to work 2 months on 1st shift one month on 2nd shift
- Maintain continuous flow through shakers by breaking up materials
- Scrape and clean finishing screens to ensure proper product flow
- Perform regular housekeeping to prevent material build-up under conveyors, aisles, and catwalks while adhering to safety procedures
- Meet production quality and quantity standards
- Notify maintenance personnel of any equipment issues or irregularities
- Assist with small-bag line operations, pallet restacking, and general clean-up as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall plant operations
Material Handler Qualifications:
- This is a non nicotine facility - No smoking, dipping or vaping is allowed
- Ability to follow safety practices to ensure their safety and the safety of others around them
- Ability to work in a dusty environment, in hot, cold or rainy weather
- Lifting up to 50 lbs
- Climb ladders and work on your feet for most of the day
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
