We’re hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep production, packaging, and material-handling equipment running safely and reliably. This is a hands-on role that combines troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, facility repairs, and occasional lab/grounds work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Food Manufacturing Maintenance Tech Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $28.00 to $30.00 /hour
  • Full Time work available
  • First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:30pm)
  • Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot production, packaging and material-handling equipment; respond to production trouble calls and return equipment to service quickly and safely.
  • Perform electrical and pneumatic diagnostics and repairs; install, wire and plumb new and existing fixtures and machines.
  • Monitor and maintain refrigeration, boiler, air handling and compressor systems.
  • Complete assigned work orders and preventive/predictive maintenance on schedule. Install, move or re-tool machinery as needed; set up and operate moderately complex machines.
  • Maintain parts inventory, organize the maintenance shop, and document work.
  • Perform light building repairs (floors, walls, doors), grounds upkeep, and assist with wastewater lab testing/monitoring when required.

Food Manufacturing Maintenance Tech Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an industrial maintenance role or dairy processing environment.
  • Comfortable with basic shop math and handbook formulas; able to read simple blueprints/drawings and use precision measuring instruments.
  • Proven electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting skills. Experience with inventory control and preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
  • Strong safety focus, dependable, and able to work independently or on a team.
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
