Manual Machinist Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
24.00 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 02:30pm to11:00pm )
- Set up and change tooling as needed to support production requirements
- Monitor machine fluid levels and replenish as necessary
- Accurately complete all required documentation for assigned projects
- Assist in training new employees as needed
- Operate a forklift safely and in compliance with company protocols
Manual Machinist Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience operating manual machine tools, including lathes and mills, in a manufacturing or job shop environment
- Experience using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, dial indicators) to verify part accuracy and ensure tolerances are met
- HS Diploma/ GED required
- Familiarity with machining a variety of materials, including steels, aluminum, and other metals.
