Senior Machinist Details:
Temporary position- $
24.00 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 02:30pm to11:00pm )
- Modify programs as required
- Operate CNC and/or manual machines independently
- Load, save, and manage CNC programs
- Adjust offsets to maintain part tolerances
- Change tooling as necessary
- Monitor machine fluids and refill when needed
- Machine parts according to provided specifications
- Set up proven production parts
- Complete all necessary paperwork for assigned projects
- Assist in training new employees when needed.
Senior Machinist Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience working in a machinist role
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience operating and programming CNC lathes and mills
- HS/ GED required
- Proven ability to read and interpret advanced blueprints and technical drawings
- Basic knowledge and practical use of G and M codes in CNC programming.
- Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure parts meet tight tolerances
