Shelter Intake Team Member Details:
Direct Hire position- $
19.50 / hour Part Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available
- Welcoming and processing participants into Horizon House Emergency Family Shelter.
- Conducting intake interviews.
- Completing documentation.
- Orienting families to shelter services, and ensuring immediate needs are met.
- Provides coaching and guidance to help participants set goals and get connected with resources.
- Provide monitoring of the shelter environment, including monitoring evening curfews, ensuring families are checked in, and following up with any participants not accounted for.
Shelter Intake Team Member Qualifications:
- High School Diploma.
- Desire to help families in need.
- Currently pursuing a degree in social services is a plus.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
