Plant Operator
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting plant operations related to rail and freight loading/unloading, as well as operating basic process equipment.

Plant Operator Details:
Direct Hire position- $
26.00 to $ 32.00 / hour - Weekend work required
Various shifts available ( Sunday throughSunday from 12:00am to12:00pm )
- Monitor the movement of products to and from storage tanks, coordinating with team members to ensure a steady and safe product flow
- Record key operating data, such as quantities pumped, gauge readings, and operating times, either manually or using computer systems
- Inspect vessels for cleanliness and verify they meet loading procedures and weight requirements
- Perform railcar groundwork, including connecting/disconnecting couplers and air lines, and assisting with railcar spotting
- Set manual brakes on railcars as needed
- Support general site upkeep, including groundskeeping tasks like weed removal
- Take on additional duties as assigned to support plant operations
Plant Operator Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to read and understand basic instructions, memos, and short correspondence
- Comfortable writing simple messages and communicating clearly in small group settings
- Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- Able to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages as needed for operational tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to apply common sense in routine situations
- Basic computer skills required (e.g., data entry, email, basic system navigation)
- Willingness to complete ongoing safety and job-related training
