Blending and Milling Opertor


This role is responsible for operating blending, milling, and related equipment to produce high-quality  products according to daily production schedules and proprietary recipes. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency, with the ability to adapt to changing production needs.

Blending and Milling Opertor Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $20.00 to $20.50 /hour
  • Full Time work available
  • Second Shift (Monday through Friday from 03:00pm to 11:15pm)
  • Operate blending and milling equipment safely and efficiently to meet daily production and quality targets.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of proprietary recipes and follow standards precisely.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform minor adjustments to maintain workflow.
  • Safely operate forklifts for the movement and storage of raw, in-process, and finished botanicals.
  • Collaborate with Scheduling, Quality, and the Blend Manager to meet production and quality standards.
  • Complete all required production paperwork and quality checks accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to support safety and sanitation.
  • Adapt to different production areas as needed to meet operational demands. Perform packaging line changeovers, using tools as necessary.
  • Uphold all Food Safety and GMP protocols.

Blending and Milling Opertor Qualifications:

  • Attention to detail 
  • Forklift experience 
  • Time Management
  • Knowledge and application of cleanliness and hygiene standards. (GMP)
  • Flexibility/adaptability: Willingness to switch roles or areas as production needs change.
  • Teamwork: Supporting and coordinating with others to maintain workflow.
  • Mechanical aptitude: Basic troubleshooting and adjustment of machinery/tools.
  • Documentation: Accurately filling out production logs, quality checks, and other paperwork.
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
