Elwood Staffing is looking for a highly motivated individual looking to become a Tool and Die Maker. In the beginning, you will be trained to drill, tap, and grind. Eventually, you will move on to more advanced training. Local to the Lansing area and temp to hire!

Tool and Die Maker Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 / hour Full Time work availableVarious shifts available ( Monday throughFriday )
- Build Line, Transfer, Gang and Progressive tooling for sheet metal dies
- Component build and conventional build
- Identify and solve problems
- Implement fixes in best practice
- Discover and solve die issues as related to product quality problems
Tool and Die Maker Qualifications:
- Background in tool and die industry a plus.
- CAD/CAM Programming Experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; business English and grammar sufficient to write and edit business material
- Computer operation requires in-depth understanding of technical capabilities and practical methodologies including projects that involve the application of advanced program functions
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
