Vehicle Maintenance Specialist Details:
Temporary position- $
25.14 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:00pm )
- Oversees automotive services requirements for the vanpool program.- Evaluates and performs 36 point vehicle inspection on returned vehicles.
- Addresses technical/maintenance issues with customers/vendors.
- Evaluates all returned vehicles.
- Monitors vendors to ensure consistency with maintenance repairs.
- Provides emergency assistance in event of accident or breakdown.
- Prepares new vehicles for lease, i.e.
- Orders supplies, installs license plates, fire extinguisher, emergency triangles, etc.
- Ensures staff vehicles are maintained and reliable.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Vehicle Maintenance Specialist Qualifications:
- 5 years previous work experience with understanding of automotive mechanical/electrical/electronic repair techniques.
- Experience with automotive diagnostics & preventative maintenance.
- Strong Organizational skills to maintain accurate records.
- Beginner level proficiency in MS Word & Excel.
- Associates degree in: Automotive Technology preferred but not required.
- Must have a valid Utah Driver's License.-
- Safe driving record required.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
