We’re looking for a detail-driven Construction Estimator with millwork or cabinetry experience to help us win projects and grow long-term client relationships.

Construction Estimator (Millwork/Cabinetry) Details:
Direct Hire position- $
70,000.00 to $ 85,000.00 / annually First Shift
- Review project specifications, drawings, and bid requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Gather vendor quotes, evaluate pricing, and identify value-engineering opportunities.
- Prepare bid packages, proposals, and budgets; submit bids by deadlines.
- Maintain accurate project and bid documentation in estimating software (Crows Nest).
- Communicate with clients, architects, contractors, and vendors to support bids and build strong relationships.
- Coordinate with Project Management and other departments to ensure smooth project turnover.
- Follow up on submitted bids to close business and strengthen client partnerships.
Construction Estimator (Millwork/Cabinetry) Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education a plus.
- Prior experience in construction estimating, preferably in architectural millwork, woodworking, or cabinetry.
- Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and bid processes.
- Experience soliciting vendor quotes and negotiating pricing.
- Proficiency with estimating software (Excel based)
- Experience with Crow's Nest ERP a plus
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple bids, deadlines, and client interactions effectively.
