Forklift Driver/Warehouse assistant Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
21.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 09:30am to06:00pm )
- Operate forklift safely and efficiently, maintaining constant awareness of surroundings to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Label and apply stickers to batteries accurately, following all handling and safety procedures
- Load and unload trucks as required, ensuring proper placement and securing of goods
- Transport pallets throughout the warehouse to support inventory organization and shipping/receiving operations
- Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of the warehouse to ensure a safe and orderly workspace
Forklift Driver/Warehouse assistant Qualifications:
- Proficient in operating pallet jacks, forklifts (sit-down, stand-up), and other warehouse equipment
- Basic understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software
- Ability to read and interpret labels, stickers, and shipping documents
- Ability to lift heavy objects and be on feet for extended periods
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and battery handling safety
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
