Heavy Equipment Operator, Mine Worker Details:
Temporary position- $
25.00 to $ 32.00 / hour Full Time work availableVarious shifts available
- $25-$32 per hour DOE
- Operate heavy earthmoving equipment, including:
- Dozers, loaders, backhoes, off-road trucks, graders, and rock drills Push waste and ore dumps
- Maintain detailed records of: Equipment loads, fueling, maintenance, and inspections
- Perform routine maintenance: Greasing, fueling, cleaning, and replacing wear parts
- Clean equipment parts such as tracks, buckets, and cabs using tools (shovels, picks, brooms)
- Assist mechanics with repairs when needed
- Service equipment (oil changes, filter replacements, etc.) Carry out additional duties as assigned
Heavy Equipment Operator, Mine Worker Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience operating heavy mining or construction equipment
- Mechanically inclined and able to assist with maintenance tasks
- Strong understanding of safety procedures in an industrial setting
- Must be local to the Battle Mountain area
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
