Press Helper Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
15.00 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 12:15pm to08:45pm )
- Assist the press operator with the setup, operation, and shutdown of the printing press.
- Prepare materials and supplies required for press runs, ensuring all items are ready and available.
- Monitor press operations to ensure quality standards are met throughout production.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of press equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Troubleshoot minor issues during press runs and escalate complex problems to the operator or supervisor.
- Assist in recording production data such as quantities produced, materials used, and time taken.
- Follow all company policies and safety regulations, including proper handling of inks and chemicals.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of print jobs.
Press Helper Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of how machines work.
- Ability to assist in setup and operation of printing equipment.
- Spotting print defects or equipment issues Ensuring quality standards are met.
- Ability to stand for long periods Lift, move, and handle materials like paper rolls and ink.
- Basic Math Skills.
- Counting prints and tracking production numbers.
- Working closely with the press operator and other staff.
- Reporting problems clearly to the operator or supervisor.
- Completing tasks efficiently during press runs.
- Following safety rules and using equipment properly.
- Keeping work area clean and hazard-free.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
