Welding Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
27.50 to $ 28.50 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available ( Monday throughFriday )
- Perform MIG, TIG, and other welding techniques on bicycle frames and components
- Inspect welded areas to ensure they meet safety & quality standards.
- Read & interpret technical drawings, blueprints, & specifications to understand welding requirements.
- Set up & adjust welding equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment
- Monitor heat levels & welding parameters to prevent defects
- Collaborate with production teams to meet production goals & deadlines
- Keep detailed records of welding processes and repairs
Welding Technician Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in welding or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a welding technician (at least 2-3 years), preferably in manufacturing or bicycle production
- Strong knowledge of MIG/TIG welding
- Ability to read & interpret blueprints, welding symbols, & technical specifications
- Experience with different types of metals & welding materials
- Excellent attention to detail & precision
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to effectively read, write, and speak to communicate.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs & work in a physically demanding environment
- Must be able to complete onsite Weld test & have updated resume
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
