2nd Shift Quality Assurance Tech/Machine Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
24.00 to $ 27.00 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 03:30pm to02:00am )
This dynamic role combines quality assurance responsibilities with hands-on machine operation. As a Quality Assurance Technician/Machine Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring products meet ISO 9001 standards while also fabricating and assembling wire products.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing first piece, last piece, and in-process inspections
- Monitoring quality control systems and determining scrap vs. rework
- Identifying improvement opportunities to enhance quality and reduce costs
- Operating production machinery, reading blueprints/measurements, and ensuring defect-free output
- Completing quality control documentation and reporting findings
2nd Shift Quality Assurance Tech/Machine Operator Qualifications:
- Proficient in reading a tape measure (accurate to 1/16”) and calipers
- Consistent and dependable attendance with strong observation skills
- Confident decision-making and ability to professionally enforce standards
- Hands-on quality experience (manual measurement, not automated tools)
- Familiar with basic computer skills and Microsoft Excel
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or production setting
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
