1st Shift Quality Assurance Technician Details:
Temporary position- $
23.00 to $ 26.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughThursday from 05:00am to03:30pm )
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to support production by ensuring every product meets ISO 9001 standards and company quality requirements. In this role, you will:
- Perform inspections (first piece, last piece, in-process, and receiving)
- Conduct calibrations on measuring and test equipment
- Monitor and evaluate quality control systems for efficiency and effectiveness
- Provide guidance on quality issues and determine rework or scrap as needed
- Assist with ISO audit procedures and additional quality initiatives
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in non-conformance areas
1st Shift Quality Assurance Technician Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Hands-on quality inspection experience (manual tools, not automated systems)
- Proficiency in reading tape measures (accurate to 1/16”) and calipers
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic computer skills
- Strong observation skills and ability to make confident decisions
- Comfortable asserting standards and expectations in a professional manner
- Consistent, dependable attendance and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
