Quality Assurance Inspector Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 to $ 23.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Interpret engineering drawings, specs, and test reports to perform inspections.
- Use tools like calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, FARO ARM, etc.
- Perform first article, in-process, final, and receiving inspections.
- Document inspection data per quality procedures; file results accordingly.
- Apply knowledge of GD&T and ISO 9001 standards.
- Identify non-conformances, report issues, and assist in corrective actions.
- Investigate root causes of recurring quality issues; support corrective procedures.
- Support continuous improvement (Lean, 5S); perform minor part rework.
- Calibrate inspection tools and maintain measurement equipment.
- Assist with QA documentation, RMAs, and training of coworkers.
- Coordinate with warehouse for timely part inspections.
- Work effectively in a team environment.
Quality Assurance Inspector Qualifications:
- Two years related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- High school diploma or GED preferred and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent computer skills, Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, etc.
- Knowledge and experience with blueprint reading.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
