Maintenance Lead / Production Support Technician Details:
Direct Hire position- $
28.00 to $ 35.00 / hour First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:00pm )
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain stamping presses, electrical controls, robotics (Fanuc), and mechanical systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance to keep production equipment and lines running smoothly.
- Work directly with operators to quickly resolve issues and keep product flow on track.
- Provide guidance and some supervisory support on the production floor.
- Assist with equipment upgrades, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
- Learn the ins and outs of our operation with the goal of stepping into a Production/Technical Manager position.
Maintenance Lead / Production Support Technician Qualifications:
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing (metal stamping or plastics/automotive a strong plus).
- Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, and controls (PLC/Allen Bradley exposure preferred).
- Ability to read schematics, follow safety procedures, and work hands-on with equipment.
- Great communicator who can work with operators and inspectors to keep lines running.
- Leadership potential — motivated to grow into a management position.
