Material Handler Details:
Temporary position- $
18.00 / hour Part Time work available- Weekend work required
Weekend Shift ( Saturday throughSunday )
- Handle freight manually: Load and unload items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds using manual equipment like hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Use equipment: Operate powered equipment such as forklifts, especially after becoming certified, to move cargo within the warehouse.
- Receive and verify shipments: Check incoming cargo against shipping documents, noting any damage or discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
- Sort and organize: Place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence (e.g., size, color, or product code).
- Prepare orders: Assemble customer orders from stock, and package items according to specifications.
Material Handler Qualifications:
- 3 years of consistent employment history
- Saturday-Sunday 6:00 am-4:30 pm or 6:00 pm-4:30 am
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
