Now hiring a Quality Auditor – 2nd shift! 

In this role, you’ll help ensure products meet customer quality standards, use inspection tools, review blueprints, and work with production to resolve issues.

Quality Auditor Details:

  • Temporary position
  • $19.00 /hour
  • Full Time work available
  • Second Shift (Monday through Monday from 04:00pm to 01:30am)
  • Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual & measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
  • Documents inspection results by completing reports & logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting measurement data into quality database.
  • Communicates with supervisors, molders, setup personnel, material handlers, & floor walkers as quality issues appear to resolve them.
  • Verifies that products are meeting quality standards at each step of the production process to ensure shipped products are meeting the customer’s quality standards.
  • Records all audit results in the proper forms and logs.
  • Provides production with previous run samples, work instructions & gauges required.
  • Works with production during scheduled mold and/or color changeovers to ensure the correct product/color is running & meets customer quality standards.
  • Verify proper packaging & labels are being used for scheduled production items.
  • Identifying and placing on hold all non-conforming products & properly fill out the Quality Assurance Deviance Form (QADF).
  • Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual & measurement tests.

Quality Auditor Qualifications:

  • Verbal & written communication skills.
  • Basic math, reading, computer & English skills.
  • Technical skills & ability to understand blueprints & inspection documents.
  • Use of inspection equipment such as calipers, pin gauges, go/no gauges & optical competitor.
  • Reading blueprints & specifications to ensure that the product meets customer specifications.
  • Must be able to work on their own with little supervision.
  • Must have a flexible schedule & be willing to work overtime.
  • Past inspection experience is preferred but not necessary.  
  • Ability to stand or walk continuously for up to 7 hours per day.
