Mechanical Assembly Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 27.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
- ASSEMBLE MECHANICAL SUB-ASSEMBLIES AND ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS FROM ENGINEERING DRAWINGS, SCHEMATICS, AND WORK INSTRUCTIONS
- PERFORM MECHANICAL ALIGNMENTS, TORQUE FASTENERS TO SPECIFICATION, AND CONDUCT FIT CHECKS
- USE HAND AND POWER TOOLS TO BUILD CONTROL PANELS, SWITCHBOARDS, AND ASSOCIATED WIRING
- FOLLOW STRICT QUALITY STANDARDS, SAFETY PROTOCOLS, AND LEAN MANUFACTURING PRACTICES (5S)
- PERFORM BASIC TO ADVANCED ELECTRICAL TESTING (DEPENDING ON LEVEL), INCLUDING USE OF MULTIMETERS, HIPOT TESTERS, AND POWER SUPPLIES
Mechanical Assembly Technician Qualifications:
- 1-3 Years of mechanical assembly experience, or a related field
- Experience using hand tools
- Experience reading blue prints or schematics preferred
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
