CNC Mill/Lathe Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 24.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to03:30pm )
- Set up CNC lathes and mills according to work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Read and understand blueprints, GD&T symbols, and specifications to ensure accurate machining of hydraulic cylinder components (e.g., rods, barrels, pistons, glands).
- Use measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, etc.) to inspect parts.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to ensure operational uptime.
- Make offsets and minor edits to G-code programs when necessary to improve quality or productivity.
- Load raw materials such as steel, aluminum, or other metals used in hydraulic components.
- Unload finished parts and prepare them for further processing or assembly.
CNC Mill/Lathe Operator Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be able to read and write G-Code
- Perform machine setup and teardown
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and GD&T Symbols and specifications
- Able to use micrometers and calipers
- Ability to perform machine setup and teardown
- Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
