Sr. Process Engineer Details:

  • Direct Hire position
  • $125,000.00 to $135,000.00 /annually
  • First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)
  • Conduct detailed analysis and evaluation of existing manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Design and implement process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time and improve product quality.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production and quality assurance teams to develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
  • Monitor and analyze process performance metrics, such as cycle time, scrap rate and develop strategies to meet or exceed targets.
  • Identify and implement process control measures, including statistical process control (SPC) techniques, to ensure consistent quality and reduce process variation.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve process-related issues and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Able to redesign processes for efficiency.
  • Lead new equipment & process validation activities, including protocol development, execution and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and guidance to production teams on new processes, procedures and equipment to ensure successful implementation and operation.
  • Develop & maintain engineering documents including operational layout drawings, ECNs and work instructions

Sr. Process Engineer Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (medical or pharma, mechanical, industrial or similar).
  • 5+ years of experience as a process engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred: Professional certification in process engineering or related areas.
  • Experience with process automation and control systems.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of process simulation software such as Flexsim and computer-aided design (CAD) tools such as Solidworks & Visio.
  • Strong knowledge of process optimization techniques, lean manufacturing principles, and statistical analysis.
  • Proficient in process analysis, process modelling, statistical analysis and simulation software.
  • Working knowledge of process safety, risk assessment and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
