Sr. Process Engineer Details:
Direct Hire position- $
125,000.00 to $ 135,000.00 / annually First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Conduct detailed analysis and evaluation of existing manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Design and implement process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time and improve product quality.
- Collaborate with engineering, production and quality assurance teams to develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Monitor and analyze process performance metrics, such as cycle time, scrap rate and develop strategies to meet or exceed targets.
- Identify and implement process control measures, including statistical process control (SPC) techniques, to ensure consistent quality and reduce process variation.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve process-related issues and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Able to redesign processes for efficiency.
- Lead new equipment & process validation activities, including protocol development, execution and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide training and guidance to production teams on new processes, procedures and equipment to ensure successful implementation and operation.
- Develop & maintain engineering documents including operational layout drawings, ECNs and work instructions
Sr. Process Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (medical or pharma, mechanical, industrial or similar).
- 5+ years of experience as a process engineer in a manufacturing environment.
- Preferred: Professional certification in process engineering or related areas.
- Experience with process automation and control systems.
- Preferred: Knowledge of process simulation software such as Flexsim and computer-aided design (CAD) tools such as Solidworks & Visio.
- Strong knowledge of process optimization techniques, lean manufacturing principles, and statistical analysis.
- Proficient in process analysis, process modelling, statistical analysis and simulation software.
- Working knowledge of process safety, risk assessment and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
