Maintenance Mechanic
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to perform routine equipment and facility repairs while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. This role is key to keeping production running smoothly and efficiently.

Maintenance Mechanic Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
24.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Third Shift
- Perform routine repairs and maintenance on equipment and facilities.
- Minimize production downtime by responding quickly to mechanical issues.
- Conduct preventative maintenance such as cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with guidance from supervisors.
- Assist with installing, relocating, and setting up equipment (air, water, electrical).
Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; additional technical training a plus.
- One to three months of related experience, or equivalent education/training.
- Strong knowledge of tools, materials, and practices in mechanical repair.
- Basic carpentry skills and the ability to learn equipment setup/changeovers.
- Willingness to work overtime during peak season or as business needs arise.
- Ability and knowledge of welding is required
- Proficient with a wide variety of hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and work instructions.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to complete basic math, algebra, and geometry calculations.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
